Leanne wearing a rooster snood.
Already she's ready for 2005. (2005 is a year of the bird.) |

The photo on right was taken in November, 2003. I always try to take photos after the dog shows for my grooming reference. Leanne is a very good model for show grooming. Though it is not easy, I've been enjoying making styles so much. Well, however, looking into the photo, the rosetts went up a bit too high and the main coat looks a bit heavy. I've been still going though trials and errors and I cannot give myself a full mark on my grooming result. It is hard but fun. |

Photo on left was taken the next month and Leanne looks nice in against the sun. Ain't she pretty?! <g> I changed a bit to make her top knot styling this time. Setting up the hair is also difficult but it is so much fun that I can't quit. |

Leanne is very pretty at dog shows but when she's home, she likes to sleep like this. Some show people put their show poodles in crates almost all the time not to spoil their coat. But my 'show poodle' is just a home pet as well. So, I never think of putting her into the crate all day long. She is always hanging around us except when she sleeps at night and when we go on a drive. Of course I always take much care of her coat condition but hanging around with us doesn't seem to spoil her coat. As you can see the photo, her legs are so dirty. I don't care much about the dirt either, because when she gets dirty what I can do best is to bathe her. That's all and that's enough, right? |
